When holidaying on County Durham a visit to the City of Durham is a must as it was voted one of the best cities in the world to visit in 2020 by The Independent. A tour of the Castle is well worth the cost and we'd recommend spending some time taking in the sights of the magnificent Cathedral with all it's history.
