The Log Cabin is situated in the grounds of the owner's trout farm. As its name suggests, it is a log cabin, made from pine and it offers accommodation for up to 4 people. The bedrooms and living accommodation are all spread out across one level and the living area has been designed in an open-plan style, comprising a kitchen, dining area and living area that has its own inglenook fireplace, so that you can enjoy the benefits of this region, even in the colder months.

Electric convector heaters with woodburning stove in sitting area. Electric cooker, microwave, fridge, TV. All electricity inc. in rent, starter pack for woodburning stove provided (extra logs available for purchase from owner direct - £3.50 for a large net bag). Bed linen & towels inc. in rent. Covered veranda with garden furniture, leading to large lawned area (unfenced lake 15 yards, children to be supervised). Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Private trout fishing available in lake at extra charge (phone Sykes office for information on cost - 10% reduction for guests). Ample off road parking. Shop & pub 3 miles. (Owner can do basic shop before arrival on request). Note: As this property is situated in a valley, there is no mobile reception. Note: The garden in not enclosed, pet will need to be supervised when outdoors

Price Information

All prices are inclusive of the booking fee.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.

Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.

"Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
