Blaenpant Cottage is situated on the southern slopes of the Preselli Hills some 100 paces from Rosebush waterway (freshwater),7 miles from the seacoast(Dinas Head/Newport)-in the centre of the Pembrokeshire peninsular south west Wales UK. (ordinance survey ref SN06032994  Post/zip code SA66 7RA.(Clynderwen is 8 miles away used for postal only).

Blaenpant Cottage is an old farm building which has been rescued and has  been tastefully renovated (in 2008) without taking away the character.  See  satellite maps post code SA66 7RA and track down the B4329 road from the  cross roads for 500 yds, after the bend, Blaenpant is in the tree complex between the road and the waterway. 

The situation of the Cottage provides one of the finest settings for a
holiday cottage, with a view across a waterway just 100 paces ahead, forests and the mountains.  The Cottage is in the Pembrokeshire National Park with a  night sky for star gazers=limited light pollution. 
With its own garden, gated and fenced, overlooking the waterway.  Your gate leads into a field and a short walk to the water and beyond into a forest walk without a need to go on the road.

Blaenpant grounds won the Times Newspaper Green Garden 2007 award. 

It is small, but spacious for couples.  Well equipped, providing much of what you would find in a little home.

One bedroomed,with openplan living and dining kitchen area, equipped with tabletop cooker/oven, electric skillet, microwave, steamer, Geo.Foreman ,fridge with freezer compartment, washing machine, toaster, kettle and coffee cafetiere ,hair dryer.Torch.

>All ground level with differing internal levels. 

Set around the wood burner are a sofa and two arm chairs.  There is a colourTV with Freeview and integral DVD and separate radio/CD player.

The Cottage is smoke alarmed.

In the dining area is a table and chairs with view over the garden and waterway.

The bedroom has a double bed made up for arrival.

The bathroom has w.c,wash basin and bath and over bath electric shower, with towels provided.

A back hallway is a good size for all holiday equipment etc. 

Heated by electricity and winter weeks substantially boosted by the wood burner, there are 6 heaters including 3 storage heaters.  The wood stove is on a central chimney.  Hot water is by electric immersion.  Visitors are not charged for electricity.

Winter bookings =Nov 1st to March 31st- have a bag of logs per day F.O.C with a the art of fire lighting, should that be required!  (Other than winter weeks, logs would be charged at cost)

The Cottage is a non-smoking area.

Well behaved dog is welcome at £3 per day.

State breed.

Prices are £60 with a 3 day booking as a minimum. July/August/Sept.are peak weeks booked as full weeks Sat to Sat.

Xmas NY weeks are £80pd.

New Year and Christmas wks £500pw.

One third of the price on booking, balance on arrival.

Payment by direct transfer,/ or cash ,cheque in some circumstances/sorry no credit cards/no Euros.

local; directions=====locate the New Inn junction which is at the crossing of the two roads the B4313 Narbeth to Fishguard and the B4329 Haverfordwest to Cardigan roads.At the New Inn junction take the B4329 directed to Haverfordwest but only for 600yds ,see a turq painted house on the left,turn into the entry alongside,the Cottage is 60 yds further in.

The Cottage contains on arrival, bed madeup, towels, t-towels, 1pt milk, salt/pepper, torch, and local info.

Fantastic little one bed cottage with everything you need for a quiet and comfortable break . Ideal location to access all of the coast from a central point. Really nice owners who are on hand but not intrusive at all - met with a very warm welcome. If you are a couple who want the peace and great scenery then this is ideal . Was going to say it is very competively priced but held back in fear of them putting the price up - seriously though it is a Gem for the price . Loved it and we will be back .

Agree with all of the above. Stayed in March 2015 and going back for Christmas. Amazingly warm and cosy and my dog loved it too! Beautiful walks by reservoir on the doorstep. Fabulous sky at night.

Another great stay at Blaenpant Cottage , glorious weather to boot . John and Joan welcoming as usual and the cottage was as good as ever , if you want somewhere quiet with great views of rolling hills and easy access to the coastal area of Pembrokeshire ) within 30 mins ( then this place is ideal . Quiet , comfortable and well presented . Will be back .
