Honeysuckle Cottage is a detached, dog-friendly stone cottage overlooking the pretty valley of Dittiscombe in the South Hams. It's a great base from which to discover some of the best of South Devon including beaches, the South West Coast Path and the sailing towns of Dartmouth and Salcombe.
This romantic, pretty single-storey cottage has far reaching views over Dittiscombe valley. You can relax in front of the woodburner and watch the wildlife over the pond, woodland and surrounding flower banks.
Honeysuckle has access to the nature trail, woodlands and meadows, all of which is managed for the enjoyment of our guests and their dogs. There’s free Wifi, LCD television, DVD player, Ipod player with radio, kingsize bed and woodburner. Also a copy of Toby's Dog Walks in South Devon, and a map of the car-free walk from Dittiscombe to the historic village of Slapton, with its two dog-friendly pubs just 2 miles away.
Our fabulous location means we are close to the quiet beaches of Start Bay, and with loads of coastal walks to choose from our visiting dogs can have a great holiday walking and playing on the many dog-friendly beaches in the area. The estuary towns of Salcombe and Dartmouth, and the vibrant market towns of Kingsbridge and Totnes, are all approximately 20-30 minutes by car.
