Cottages in meath

We found 1 cottage

The effects of the last ice age can be seen in the rich soil of this farm based county. Meath attracted its first settlers thousands of years ago, and they built up the land from the banks of the River Boyne into a thriving farmland that it remains to this day.

This is a significant agricultural center, rich with fertile land and plenty of moisture. Although the county had its peak in the Celtic Tiger era, there are still many attractions for visitors to enjoy as they explore this rich land full of rugged history and old stories.
