Created by sympathetic renovation of a small farm building close to the farmhouse, SHEPHERD'S REST is ideal for that cosy retreat for two, for the business traveller preferring independence, and for those who cannot get about so well. It has an accessibility rating and is wheelchair friendly.

The pine-beamed, pine-furnished kitchen and living area boasts an old-style “Belfast” Sink, a black cast-iron wood-burning stove for winter evenings, and views through the farmyard and pasture to the woods beyond. The beds in the spacious twin room link to form a “super-king-size” double.

SHEPHERD'S REST holiday accommodation has a quiet and sunny South-facing patio, with access to the farm paddock and adjoining orchard.

There’s lots of tourist information for you, and we are close by in the main farmhouse for local knowledge when you need it.

Convenient for historic YORK and bustling LEEDS and right in the middle of Yorkshire, Lund Farm is a friendly haven for your holiday or business vist. We have 200 peaceful acres  and we are personally on hand with plenty of advice to help you to make the most of your stay.

We offer a lawn and paddock,  a sunny patio and free use of bicycles.

For the business visitor there's a friendly welcome, peace and quiet, and internet access, and don't worry, stroking the animals is optional.
