Let It Snow!16 December 2018
Well the first snow of the season is on its way, but that does not mean you have to hibernate!
With snow on its way, you may automatically think of a log fire at night (or even during the day), with a four legged friend or two. With over 1375 dog friendly cottages, many with fires and in all of the popular destinations, you will find something to suit you all.
But while you have a cosy cottage to return to at the end of the day, why not make the most of our beautiful countryside, grab your walking boots and go exploring.
Visiting the seaside this time of year, may not be your first thought, but think of all the advantages. The glorious coastal walks and sandy beaches, no crowds and instead of an ice-cream, a nice hot chocolate looking out to the sea. What more could you ask for and as we have over 971 cottages, many dog friendly, you will find something to tempt you to book that holiday.
If you fancy spending Christmas away from it all, there are still some of our cottages with Christmas availably. Many of our cottage owners will decorate the cottage for you, providing wine and chocolates too and of course a friendly welcome.
New Year is fast approaching and with some cottages still available to book for this special time of year, it's well taking a look at what's on offer.
If the January sales take your fancy then why not stay in a cottage that is not too far from the shops, so after a hard day of retail therapy you can escape back to your cottage and have a well-earned rest.
So from Devon and Cornwall to the Highlands of Scotland and beyond, there is much to discover for holidays at this time of year.
