Blaenpant Cottage is situated on the southern slopes of the Preselli Hills some 100 paces from Rosebush waterway (freshwater),7 miles from the seacoast(Dinas Head/Newport)-in the centre of the Pembrokeshire peninsular south west Wales UK. (ordinance survey ref SN06032994 Post/zip code SA66 7RA.(Clynderwen is 8 miles away used for postal only).
Blaenpant Cottage is an old farm building which has been rescued and has been tastefully renovated (in 2008) without taking away the character. See satellite maps post code SA66 7RA and track down the B4329 road from the cross roads for 500 yds, after the bend, Blaenpant is in the tree complex between the road and the waterway.
The situation of the Cottage provides one of the finest settings for a
holiday cottage, with a view across a waterway just 100 paces ahead, forests and the mountains. The Cottage is in the Pembrokeshire National Park with a night sky for star gazers=limited light pollution.
With its own garden, gated and fenced, overlooking the waterway. Your gate leads into a field and a short walk to the water and beyond into a forest walk without a need to go on the road.

It is small, but spacious for couples. Well equipped, providing much of what you would find in a little home.
One bedroomed,with openplan living and dining kitchen area, equipped with tabletop cooker/oven, electric skillet, microwave, steamer, Geo.Foreman ,fridge with freezer compartment, washing machine, toaster, kettle and coffee cafetiere ,hair dryer.Torch.

Set around the wood burner are a sofa and two arm chairs. There is a colourTV with Freeview and integral DVD and separate radio/CD player.

The Cottage is smoke alarmed.
In the dining area is a table and chairs with view over the garden and waterway.
The bedroom has a double bed made up for arrival.
The bathroom has w.c,wash basin and bath and over bath electric shower, with towels provided.
A back hallway is a good size for all holiday equipment etc.
Heated by electricity and winter weeks substantially boosted by the wood burner, there are 6 heaters including 3 storage heaters. The wood stove is on a central chimney. Hot water is by electric immersion. Visitors are not charged for electricity.
Winter bookings =Nov 1st to March 31st- have a bag of logs per day F.O.C with a demo.in the art of fire lighting, should that be required! (Other than winter weeks, logs would be charged at cost)
The Cottage is a non-smoking area.
Well behaved dog is welcome at £3 per day.

Prices are £60 p.day with a 3 day booking as a minimum. July/August/Sept.are peak weeks booked as full weeks Sat to Sat.
Xmas NY weeks are £80pd.

The Cottage contains on arrival, bed madeup, towels, t-towels, 1pt milk, salt/pepper, torch, and local info.
